Join us this Saturday evening, July 25th, 2026 for a truly special mega night of legendary freestyle music sounds at our long island amphitheater and event space. Doors: 5:00 PM. Showtime: 7:00 PM! Freestyle lovers this is going to be a event of come togethers some of the greatest musicians from the Golden Era of Freestyle from the 80's & 90's. The Sensations TKA will be headlining the show with A Lady, Crystal, So Many Times singer Soave, Real Attractive Cynthia, Alisha Strafe and Joe Zangie. Prepare yourself for a fun filled night playing all the hits of the Freestyle Era!!! Both shows will feature a very familiar audience who will join in on all the hits.

TKA

One of the great Freestyle groups today are TKA. They are featured on the collection with "One Way Love", "Tears May Fall", "Maria" and the Club Anthem "Louder Than Bombs". Their late 80's hits influenced many of today's Club scenes and their songs continue to pack the Clubs to this day. Although their last album was "Forever" released in 2001, they are still an active group touring and performing. Did you know that the "TKA" in their name stands for the first letter of each of the original members name: Tony, Kayel and Angel.

Shannon

Catch a glimpse into the life and music of Shannon, the original creator of freestyle music in the mid 1980s. Don't miss the opportunity to sing along to Shannon's hit single, "Let the Music Play", an iconic song and the foundation of freestyle music. Shannon will also perform her other hit songs "Give Me Tonight" and "Do You Wanna Get Away" in their entirety. Shannon's new release, A Beauty Returns was released in 2006. She makes history as the first female to deserve a Grammy nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance in 1985 for "Let the Music Play" which reached a gold single. 

Judy Torres

Judy Torres brings years of freestyle experience to the dance floor playing her most famous hits including "No Reason To Cry", "Come Into My Arms", and "Love Story" to name a few. Judy released her latest album "Faithfully" in 2005. When she is not in the studio recording you can find her behind the turntables DJing on WKTU. The little known fact about Judy is that she started performing at the age of 17. In addition to her albums and DJing, Judy has appeared in movies and stage productions. 

Soave

Soave’s music ranges from heartfelt song material to club tracks and freestyle mixed with Latin influenced songs. His 2 newest songs “Crying Over You” and “If You Want Me” are intense and have the ability to connect with many people. Soave has been a respected figure in the freestyle scene since late 1980’s producing heartfelt song material and performances for freestyle listeners world wide. In fact no less than 5 songs have charted on the Billboard charts including his latest hit “I Got It” on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. 

Cynthia

Joining Steve for a Freestyle/Dance-Pop set are powerful Puerto Rican-American vocals by Cynthia Torres best known for “Change on Me”, “Endless Nights” and her legendary Freestyle duet with Johnny O on “Dreamboy/Dreamgirl”. Torres released her second album, Cynthia II, in 1991 and has since released additional music. Several of Torres’ songs have held the top Dance position on the Billboard charts. Her Freestyle duet with Johnny O, “Dreamboy/Dreamgirl”, is often considered one of the definitive Freestyle tracks.

Alisha

Dance artist Alisha Ann Itkin, better known simply as Alisha, began incorporating more high-energy dance tracks, reminiscent of the 1980s and 1990s freestyle movement, into her work with songs such as "Baby Talk", "All night Passion", and "Too Turned On". Alisha's 1990 release, "Bounce Back" was another example of her work. Alisha was awarded the Best Dance Vocalist award at the New York Music Awards.

Strafe

Most know and love Strafe for his 1984 classic “Set It Off” which kick started a dance culture movement and spawned a wave of freestyle artists, but fans of this cult act can now experience the influence of the true pioneer. “Set It Off” has been sampled by numerous hip-hop artists in recent years and the huge grassroots success of “Set It Off”!

Joe Zangie

Worldwide freestyle and dance performer Joe Zangie will perform original freestyle songs and music updates for the freestyle community. He will also perform some of the most requested freestyle classics such as “In My Dreams”, “You Remind Me”, and “When the evening Comes” and debut his recently released record “I’ll Be Loving You” 2024. 

Catholic Health Amphitheater At Bald Hill Information

The legendary summer amphitheater is The Amphitheater at Daniel Street Amphitheater, located at 1 Ski Run Lane, Farmingville, NY on Long Island where name acts and quality entertainment comes to perform. The venue has been entertaining event goers since 1965 and offers the ultimate in live entertainment. The freestyle venue features roughly 3000 allocated seating tickets and over 4000 lawn seating positions. The allocated seating provides concert goers the comfort of having a seat with one of the best site lines at the venue.
