To keep guests safe and sound, Bald Hill Amphitheater has a set of rules and guidelines that visitors are expected to follow. Failure to abide by these rules may result in expulsion from the venue without refund. So please take the time to read and understand these rules. Before you set off to see your show at the Amphitheater at Bald Hill, make sure you’re aware of the venue’s rules. Please note that these rules may be changed without prior notice, according to the current situation. You should check directly with the amphitheater or with Long Island Events if you have any questions.

Catholic Health Amphitheater is committed to providing a comfortable, safe and enjoyable entertainment experience. This means that they maintain certain expectations for the concert or festival environment. Please be kind to other concert-goers and respectful to venue staff. Everyone will have a better time when they abide by these rules.

NOT ALLOWED

The following items of equipment or personal possessions are strictly prohibited from the Catholic Health Amphitheater:

  • ALCOHOL
  • ILLEGAL DRUGS/SUBSTANCES
  • ANY HERBAL/ELECTRONIC DELIVERY SYSTEM or TOBACCO PRODUCT
  • CAMERAS WITH INTERCHANGEABLE LENSES and/or EXTERNAL FLASH
  • PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT
  • TRIPODS/MONOPODS
  • LAPTOPS/TABLETS/IPADS IN SEATING AREA
  • AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING DEVICES
  • NOISE MAKING DEVICES
  • LASER POINTERS
  • OPTICAL ILLUSIONS
  • SELFIE STICKS
  • FLASHLIGHTS
  • BAGS LARGER THAN 12″ x 12″ x 6″
  • CANS OR BOTTLES
  • OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES
  • SKATEBOARDS/ROLLERBLADES
  • BEACH BALLS OR PROJECTILES
  • POINTED-TIP UMBRELLAS
  • PETS (excepting only SERVICE ANIMALS)

In addition, the following items are prohibited inside the Catholic Health
Amphitheater itself and all the parking areas.

  • Bicycles
  • Mini bikes
  • Go-karts
  • Motorized scooters
  • Skateboards
  • Rollerblades
  • Drones, kites, model aircraft, or any other flying objects, whether tethered or remote controlled

The management reserves the right to conduct a visual search of all vehicles and bags entering the property, and to prohibit any other items they consider dangerous, intrusive or offensive.

General Rules

For your own safety, shirts and shoes must always be worn at the Catholic Health Amphitheater. Don’t wear anything with offensive slogans, signs or images or you won’t be allowed in.

This is a COMPLETELY TOBACCO-FREE environment. No tobacco products of any kind are permitted inside the arena or within 15 feet of the entrance to the property.

The sale of merchandise and other products in the parking lots is restricted to Long Island event companies or staff. No product advertising banners or signage may be displayed, nor any fliers or brochures placed on vehicles.

Catholic Health Amphitheater eating and drinking policy

You are allowed to bring food and barbecue equipment, but only for tailgating in the parking lot prior to the event. All other food and beverages must be purchased from the venue concessions, excepting only water. You’re allowed one bottle of water per person.

Alcohol Policy

You may purchase alcoholic beverages, but only if you’re over 21. Minors will be refused service of alcohol, as will anyone already visibly intoxicated.
You’ll be asked to produce valid photo ID when purchasing alcoholic beverages, and you’ll only be permitted two drinks per transaction. The management reserves the right to reduce this limit for special events or circumstances.

Security staff and the Suffolk County Police will enforce all New York State laws in regard to the consumption and distribution of alcohol.

Catholic Health Amphitheater tailgating policy

Tailgating is permitted in some lots.

You may bring a barbecue grill, but no frying or oil-based equipment. Open fires are not permitted. You must situate your barbecue at a safe distance from your vehicle and from any other people or property which could suffer damage.

All equipment must be kept only within your own parking space and not spill over into adjoining spaces or drive lanes.

You’re allowed to put up tents or canopies in your space, provided they’re not larger than 8’ x 8’.

Catholic Health Amphitheater bag policy

You’re allowed small clutch bags (6.5”x 4.5”) and/or clear plastic, PVC or vinyl tote bags. These must be no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”. All other bags of any type are prohibited.

Catholic Health Amphitheater lawn policy

You’re allowed to bring cushions and/or blankets to sit on, provided the circumstances are suitable. You can also bring small lawn chairs, but only for the lawn, and binoculars. Small umbrellas may be permitted at the discretion of the management.

Catholic Health Amphitheater pet policy

Animals aren’t allowed in the Amphitheater at Bald Hill, except for guide dogs or service animals for guests with disabilities.

Catholic Health Amphitheater camera policy

Catholic Health Amphitheater policy will usually permit you to bring a personal camera, as long as it doesn’t have removable lenses or flash. You mustn’t use your camera for recording.

Catholic Health Amphitheater children policy

If the event is suitable, children under the age of two (2) are permitted free of charge.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please make sure your children behave responsibly to be considerate of other concert-goers. You must park STROLLERS as directed by venue staff.

Catholic Health Amphitheater re-entry policy

The venue management doesn’t allow concert-goers to re-enter the venue. Re-entry may be permitted in exceptional circumstances, provided these circumstances are approved before you exit. Apply for permission from Catholic Health Amphitheater’s security staff or guest services supervisor.
